I'm Ian McWilliams - hence Ian Consultancy!
Personal life: I am married with grown up children whom I adore. I am in the privileged position of being able to see them and my wonderful Grandchildren regularly, as they all live near me in the sunny County of Essex.
My experience in the UK Jewellery trade spans 40 years, mainly in field sales, gaining insights into what really works both from a suppliers point of view and from a retailers. The differences are large and varied, but I approach things from the end users/buyers point of view. This helps get results.
Why copywriting and content creation? I have a huge interest in how words help sell items, how they can convey an emotional response, turning interest in to business. Did you know that even by just rewording your emails asking for payment correctly, you could get customers to pay you quicker?
Who I am helping: I help major suppliers such as River Mounts and individual retailers expand their marketing, writing copy for everything from catalogue introductions, product descriptions, articles in the trade press, to emails, taglines and so much more.
I am married with wonderful grown up children and I have the joy of regularly spending time with my amazing Grandchildren. I am a lover of travel and anyone that knows me will tell you that my interest in motorsport and fast cars knows no bounds!
